U.S. sanctions three over conflict in Democratic Republic of Congo

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury on Thursday imposed sanctions on three people over the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including the vice president of the country’s Independent National Electoral Commission, the department said in a statement.
