Northern Irish DUP leader - we cannot support Brexit deal as it stands

BELFAST (Reuters) - The leader of the small Northern Irish party propping up Prime Minister Theresa May’s British government said it cannot support her Brexit divorce deal as it currently stands, and warned that it could cost May their government cooperation agreement.
“As it currently stands, we cannot support it. We believe there is a better way, a third way, and we are encouraging the prime minister, instead of wasting time, to use this time to get a better deal,” Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) Arlene Foster told Northern Irish broadcaster UTV.
In a separate interview with BBC Radio Ulster, Foster added that if May was successful in getting the current agreement through parliament, the DUP would then “revisit” its ‘confidence and supply’ agreement with May’s Conservative party.
