Kremlin says welcomes decision by France's Macron to visit World Cup: RIA
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Moscow welcomes a decision by French President Emmanuel Macron to visit Russia for the soccer World Cup, RIA news agency cited Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying on Friday.
Macron said last month he would travel to Russia for the tournament if France reached the semi-finals, which the French team did earlier on Friday after defeating Uruguay 2-0.
